What if the world lost oxygen for 5 seconds?

You'll be surprised...

Everyone will be burnt because oxygen helps protect us from the harmful UV Rays; there would be no beach to get burnt at, (the ocean will evaporate into space!)

Why is ice slippery?

We've done a lot in science yet we are still guessing why ice is slippery. Here are scientists best guesses!

Physicists once believed that ice became slippery when pressure was applied. they thought that pressure caused the top layer of ice to melt when say a skating blade passed over it then froze again once the blade had passed.
